MBBS from Burdwan University,West Bengal;DPH from Calcutta University.Thirty Three(33)years of experience working at grassroots to policy-level action in the sectors of Health,Socio-Economic Empowerment,Community based health services delivery and health systems strengthening.This long journey in health sector started with State H&FW department,Tripura as a Junior Medical Officer.During the course of the journey in the field of Public Health,played a pivotal leadership role in the pilot project of ‘Efficacy of Multi Drug Therapy in Leprosy’,rolling out Tele–medicine project as early as in 2005 and in conceptualization of 'One Health Sub Centre in every Gram Panchayat/Village Council area vis – a- vis ‘Time to Care approach’ in Tripura’ in early 2008. Played onsignificant role while deputation to WHO–NPSP project and MoH&FW, Government of India, had a rich experience of around 5 (Five) years in National AIDS Control Programme as State Project Director, Tripura.
